PHP/Laravel Developer with DSP (Demand-Side Platform) Experience Required Skills Laravel (PHP) (3) PHP (3) Job Description Role Overview: The PHP/Laravel Developer will play a crucial role in developing a new Demand-Side Platform (DSP) to support real-time bidding for connected television (CTV) and other programmatic advertising needs. This project aims to build a scalable DSP that can handle high-volume bidding and auction interactions with various Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs). The successful candidate will also support ongoing development and maintenance of other PHP and Laravel-based applications. Key Responsibilities: DSP Development: Lead the development and deployment of a DSP platform to support real-time bidding and programmatic advertising needs, working closely with the in-house and offshore teams. Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code using Laravel and related frameworks. Integration and Communication: Develop integrations between Coast Technology’s DSP and various SSPs for seamless ad placements. Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with in-house and offshore teams, including PHP, Laravel, and data-heavy Python teams, to align development with data utilization requirements. Code Quality and Testing: Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications; identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Scalability and Efficiency: Create robust systems that ensure a cost-effective bidding process for DSP usage, leveraging platform efficiencies. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to code and design reviews to maintain quality standards and mentor less experienced team members as needed. Qualifications Qualifications: Required Experience: 5+ years of PHP experience with Laravel expertise. Experience with DSPs, programmatic advertising, or real-time bidding technologies, ideally for platforms like Trade Desk, Simpli.fi, or Xandr. Familiarity with integrations and interactions with SSPs, CTV, and other programmatic advertising protocols. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies. Preferred Skills: Experience in Python for data-heavy applications is a plus. Knowledge of marketing technology platforms, particularly in OTT/CTV environments.
