The hotel offers spacious guestrooms and suites, the exclusive Horizon Club, world-class restaurants and bars, top-of-the-line recreational facilities, complimentary broadband and Wi-Fi Internet access, and premiere function rooms.We are hiring for a Duty Engineer.As a Duty Engineer, We Rely You ToEnsure that the Hotel equipment and areas are maintained and operated in accordance with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts standard Check daily utilities readings and make sure operation is most efficient. Ensure all engineering employees follow the Engineering Standards and Procedures as issued from time to time. Conduct shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known. Manage the technician to maintain all machinery equipment and record work process for the property. Responsible for the proper organization and functioning of the energy management function of the Engineering Department. Demonstrate awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensure direct reports do the same. Analyse and monitor energy costs and expenditures for the department. Ensure that personal grooming and hygiene standards are being observed doing spot checks in the morning. Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time. We Are Looking For Someone WhoHas proper bearing, good health, physically fit, neat & pleasant Has at least 5 years experience in the same field. Has certificate from Technical College in Mechanics or Electricity or equivalent. Demonstrates awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines. In addition, first aid and fire and emergency procedures. Demonstrates high quality work, has good communication & problem solving skills, organizational and training abilities Highly motivated, goal-oriented and has the aptitude to learn Leads by example Communicates and writes with fluency in English (and local language) If you are the right person, what are you waiting for?
