Overview Travel Specialist (Travel Account – GDS) – WNS Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines Responsibilities Proficiency in one or more GDS systems (Worldspan, Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, and Apollo) Thorough understanding of International/US Domestic Ticketing, Exchange, Refunds, Hotel, and Car booking Good knowledge about OBT (Concur, Get there etc.) Efficient knowledge of IATA World Geography, including TC Areas, Global Indicator, and Type of Journey Ability to interpret Fare calculation lines on GDS ticket images Capability to perform Manual fare calculations for Partial Exchange and Partial Refund scenarios Strong verbal and written communication skills, with comprehension of US and UK accents Capacity to provide optimal solutions to travelers during after-hours or emergency situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Approachable, cooperative, and a team player, able to garner trust and support from team members and peers Proficient in Customer Service Skills for managing corporate travellers Experience in working with the US market and handling corporate clients is preferred Previous experience with an Online Booking Tool (OBT) is advantageous Qualifications At least 2 years experience/knowledge in one or more GDS applications (Sabre, Worldspan, Apollo, Amadeus, or Galileo) Customer service background of at least 2 years, preferably in a travel account Strong experience in working with the US market and handling corporate clients is preferred 2+ years’ experience with GDS and/or travel industry background Job details Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Customer Service and Training Industries: Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
