About the role Lead the delivery and execution of complex engineering projects across Asia, Africa, Australia, and globally, ensuring successful project completion from study and design to construction, commissioning, and handover. Collaborate with a diverse team of seasoned project delivery professionals to provide full technical support and oversight, enhancing project outcomes and client satisfaction. Utilize your expertise in electrical engineering and project controls to manage project forecasting, planning, and cost control reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Engage with clients across the resources and renewables sectors, evaluating renewable options as a priority and integrating them into project solutions. Apply your strong organizational and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring seamless project execution. Contribute to the preparation of engineering drawings and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Participate in tendering and estimating processes for engineering projects, leveraging your experience to secure successful project bids. Conduct occasional site visits to ensure alignment between project plans and on-site execution, providing insights and adjustments as necessary. About the candidate Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification in construction, commercial, or legal fields. 4 to 12 years of experience in major project environments, particularly in the construction or resource sectors. Strong project controls experience, including project forecasting, planning, and cost control reporting. Experience with electrical engineering packages and associated plant and equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Project or P6. Familiarity with SCADA protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, TCP/IP, Ethernet, and IP protocols. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally frantic environment. Experience in tendering and estimating for engineering projects. Exposure to the engineering environment, including the process of creating, revising, and issuing engineering drawings. A positive work attitude and eagerness to work in a dynamic role with a seasoned project delivery team. Experience in both office and site settings, with an understanding of construction processes and linkages. Ability to work effectively in a diverse and global project environment, with occasional site visits.
