Staff Accountant I

Responsibilities Maintain and oversee the accuracy of general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Process and reconcile cash receipts and online banking transactions with exceptional Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations daily or monthly, promptly resolving discrepancies through collaboration with relevant departments Review and ensure accurate expense coding to appropriate general ledger and departmental accounts, maintaining consistent communication with departments to ensure Conduct in-depth account analyses and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed Utilize Oracle NetSuite as the primary ERP system to manage financial data, streamline workflows, and enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency Collaborate closely with the U.S. Corporate Accounting team to align on accounting standards, reporting requirements, and best practices Partner with finance team members and other departments to identify and implement process improvements, fostering operational excellence and strong interdepartmental Monitor, analyze, and report on changes and trends in balance sheet and income statement accounts to inform financial decision‑making Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice review, payment processing, and disbursements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls Provide comprehensive support for annual external audits, SOC operational audits, and preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance and readiness Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field required Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in accounting or related field Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences including customers, team members, and clients, through written and verbal means Solid organizational skills, ability to work across teams, ability to focus on broader goals and customer level details simultaneously, and ability to multi‑task effectively Strong working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office required Working knowledge of NetSuite preferred Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
