Overview
Position Summary:
The SAP Business Analyst - SAP Manufacturing is a key member of the IT SAP Manufacturing team ensuring SAP Manufacturing support and project services are delivered to the business in an efficient manner.

This role is responsible for providing SAP Manufacturing operational support and project services to both and Pratt Industries.

Operational Support will be delivered through managing response and resolution times so that SAP Manufacturing functions are available to Industries on a 24/7 basis.

Project Delivery will be managed through the use of project management frameworks in the ITSM tool.

The SAP Business Analyst - SAP Manufacturing is expected to participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement practices across the SAP Manufacturing team and to help the SAP Business Service Lead SAP Manufacturing to constantly improve delivery to customers. They will be held accountable for assigned support tickets and project delivery.

Having a focus on the improvement in delivery of IT services & projects, you will be a key member of a customer focused, dynamic and positive energy IT team that is fully focused on supporting the business and IT teams to achieve our goals and objectives.

The SAP Business Analyst - SAP Manufacturing must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment while developing a deep level of understanding of the manufacturing industry and SAP Manufacturing related offerings.

Follow established IT Operations policies, procedures, and processes to carry out day-to-day operations and activities in order to ensure the dependability and availability of SAP Manufacturing related services.

This role offers valuable exposure to the principles of Industry 4.0 encompassing smart factories that are sustainable, interconnected, and safe. IDT is advancing toward a fully automated warehouse environment, integrating technologies such as automated and laser-guided vehicles, as well as automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). Candidates with experience in such high-tech, automated settings will be highly regarded.

• Provide SAP Manufacturing related application support and solution design for business partners
• Participate in assessment, design architecture and development capabilities applicable to tasks ranging from simple business processes to architecting and developing
• SAP Manufacturing systems and areas of functionality
• Adherence to SAP Standards and other best practices
• Demonstrated ability in process analysis and the ability to suggest technology alternatives to our customers with a SAP Manufacturing lens or general technology solutions
• Monitor quality and service standards in accordance with agreed resolution timeframes
• Ensure documentation is current and accessible to technical teams and end users.
• Identify process improvements
• Identify and manage the resolution of root causes that repeatedly interrupt SAP Manufacturing services

Regulatory and Legal:

• SAP Manufacturing restoration to ensure services are restored within SLA.
• Ensure the time amendment of policies and processes to enable the organisation to be effective in its business objectives.
• Escalate Organisational Risks to IDT project teams or relevant management levels when appropriate.
• Effectively identify, track and manage potential IT risks and issues.
• Technical:
• Possess the ability to manage their assigned ticket queue and to provide assistance to others where necessary.
• Possess deep knowledge in SAP MM and WM with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience and also hold demonstrable skills in deploying SAP with the following modules PP, QM, IM, PM
• The overall IT support services framework is followed by the SAP Manufacturing team, improved and overall IT issues are minimised.
