BizTalk Engineer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Biztalk Engineer to join our growing team of DevOps experts. As a Biztalk developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing integration solutions using MS Biztalk Server.

Possessing strong qualities such as understanding integration patterns, and data transformation is strongly sought after.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical abilities to solve complex problems with data, a willingness to learn new technologies and tools if necessary and be comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, stakeholders, and products.

What are the primary responsibilities of the Role?

• Design and develop integration solutions using BizTalk Server
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and processes
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate systems and resolve technical issues
• Participate in Agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing integration solutions
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the integration development space

Experience & Qualifications

Mandatory (critical for the Role):

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Certifications related to BizTalk Server
• Extensive experience with MS BizTalk Server
• Excellent understanding of integration architecture patterns and principles
• Strong experience in developing integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server

Skills (Technical, Business, Leadership):

• Expertise in BizTalk 2020 administration
• Experience in developing integration architectures in large organizations with mixed-matrix IT environments
• Experience in design, development, and support of BizTalk 2020, Logic Apps applications and AS2.
• Solid Development background in the following technologies and standard EDI: C#, .Net, SQL, IIS, EDIFACT and X12
• Experience with source code management systems e.g. Team Foundation Server, GIT, and VSS
• Experience with SAP Adapter implementation and REST Services experience
• Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, REST services and web services
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and .NET
• Understanding of SQL Server and database management.
• Knowledge of other middleware tools e.g. Boomi, Mulesoft is bonus
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is bonus
