About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Solution Engineer - Data Cloud to join our fast-paced, customer-focused Product and Technology team. This role involves connecting technology, data, and client needs to develop impactful data solutions. As a remote-first company, we value flexibility, collaboration, and innovation, working on projects like Amazon competitive intelligence in small, focused teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Build data solutions based on specifications.
  2. QA custom datasets for clients.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and data teams to resolve data issues and create delivery pipelines.
  4. Create automated queries, reports, and dashboards to demonstrate data value.
  5. Coordinate with Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services to manage timelines and onboarding.
  6. Develop onboarding materials like guides and FAQs.
  7. Assist PM and TAM during customer calls regarding data.
  8. Participate in team communications via Scrum meetings and Slack.
Qualifications
  1. At least 3 years of experience working directly with customers on data integration and utilization.
  2. Over 5 years of experience in data analysis and integration.
  3. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  4. Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  5. Ability to manage multiple commitments and set stakeholder expectations.
  6. Attention to detail and quality ownership.
  7. Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Growth mindset and continuous improvement attitude.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in e-commerce.
  • Knowledge of Data Lakes (S3/Glue), modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
  • Experience with data integration systems like FTP, S3, GCP, Azure.
