The client is a multinational providing full-suite cybersecurity services to clients around the globe.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver full-cycle cybersecurity consulting services, including risk assessments, security audits, and compliance gap analyses.
  • Lead or contribute to the design and implementation of information security programs, including ISO 27001-aligned ISMS initiatives.
  • Assess organizational controls against standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, and COBIT, and provide practical, risk-based recommendations.
  • Review and develop security policies, processes, and governance frameworks tailored to client operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide clients through compliance readiness assessments, particularly in support of regional or industry-specific mandates (e.g., BSP, GDPR, PDPA).
  • Create high-quality client deliverables such as assessment reports, executive presentations, and remediation roadmaps.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including IT security, risk, and compliance teams.
  • Collaborate across internal teams on solution design, knowledge sharing, and client development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Security Consultant should have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk advisory, or IT audit.
  • Prior experience delivering external consulting engagements, particularly in a professional services or advisory capacity, is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client projects, meet deadlines, and maintain quality under pressure.
  • The following certifications is a plus -
    • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
    • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
    • CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
    • CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
    • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
    • Additional credentials (e.g., CRISC, ISO 27701, CCSP, or cloud security certifications) are considered advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of information security controls, risk frameworks, and audit methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated independence and accountability in delivering consulting engagements.
  • Flexibility to travel regionally for client-facing assignments and workshops.
