Overview

General Ledger - Accounting positions available. Location(s): BGC/ Pasay; Taguig; on-site with night or US shift as specified. Employment Type: Full-time.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain chart of accounts and oversee books of accounts.
  • Review trial balance and account reconciliations; perform month-end close; prepare monthly financial statements and related schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support audits (internal and external).
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation in general ledger accounting; utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS, NetSuite) and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
  • Provide analyses and ad-hoc reports to management; support budgeting and forecasting as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in General Ledger or related accounting roles; supervisory experience preferred for some positions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, IFS, NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness to work night shift or US shift where applicable.
  • Real estate exposure is an advantage for some roles; CPA/CMA credentials are a plus but not required.
