About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivatedAccounting Supervisor who will oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations. This is apioneering position —the successful candidate will initially serve as the company’sAccountant , setting up accounting processes, financial systems, and controls from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Assist in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost-saving strategies.

Accounting & Recordkeeping

  • Supervise bookkeeping and ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions, reconciliations, and monthly closings.
  • Maintain compliance withPhilippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) .

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Monitor daily cash flows and manage payables and collections.
  • Coordinate with banks to ensure liquidity and proper cash management.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Present financial updates and reports to management.

Tax Management

  • Ensure compliance withBIR regulations and tax filings (VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
  • Coordinate with external auditors or consultants on tax matters.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Support compliance audits and recommend process improvements.

Payroll & Procurement Coordination

  • Review payroll inputs in coordination with HR.
  • Monitor procurement of goods and services to ensure adherence to budgets.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor’s degree inAccountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
  2. At least2 years in a supervisory role .
  3. Strong knowledge ofPhilippine taxation, financial reporting, and internal control systems .
  4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) andadvanced MS Excel skills .
  5. Knowledge ofagriculture or livestock business is an advantage.
  6. Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  7. Values-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a pioneering role.
