About the role As the Purchasing Supervisor at DN Steel Group of Companies, you will play a vital role in overseeing the procurement department. This full-time position is based in our Quezon City office, and you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of our material and supply chain. What you'll be doing Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and other supplies to support production and logistics requirements Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to optimize stock holding and minimize shortages Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with business goals Implement and maintain effective purchasing policies, procedures, and systems Train and supervise purchasing staff to ensure compliance and continuous improvement Analyze purchasing data and provide recommendations to enhance procurement efficiency Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to relevant regulations and company policies What we're looking for Graduate of any four-year business course or other related courses Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships Proficient in inventory management and supply chain optimization Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team Thorough understanding of procurement regulations, policies, and best practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
