Architectural + Detail Drafter (Millwork Experience a Plus) Join to apply for the Architectural + Detail Drafter (Millwork Experience a Plus) role at Hire Highs. We are looking for an experienced Architectural + Detail Drafter to support hospitality projects ranging from 3-star to luxury properties. This person will be responsible for producing precise, construction-level drawings including architectural layouts, elevations, and detailed sections following US and Canadian standards. This is a full-time, remote role that requires availability during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. Hospitality project experience is required. Millwork experience is a strong plus, as many projects include built-in joinery, custom furnishings, and interior detailing. Responsibilities Develop and update architectural and interior construction drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections. Produce detailed joinery and millwork drawings when required. Interpret redlines, markups, and design sketches accurately with minimal supervision. Coordinate with project leads and interior designers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and documentation standards. Maintain organized CAD files and drawing sets for multiple active projects. Ensure all drawings comply with US and Canadian construction codes and hospitality brand requirements. Requirements 4-5+ years of relevant experience in architectural and interior detailing for hospitality projects. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus). Solid understanding of US and Canadian construction documentation standards. Excellent technical accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines independently. Strong communication skills and experience working with remote teams. Must be available for full-time, remote work during PST hours. Experience preparing millwork or shop drawings for hotel or resort projects. Familiarity with international hospitality brand standards and specifications. Why Join Us?
