Job 2: Aircon Technician — What you’ll be doing

What you’ll be doing

  • Install, service, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, and testing equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns

What we’re looking for

  • Formal training or certification in air conditioning and refrigeration, such as a diploma or vocational qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Aircon Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Job 3: Educational Background and Experience — Air Conditioning Technician

Educational Background:

  • Graduate of a vocational/technical course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology.
  • TESDA NC II / NC III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is an advantage.

Work Experience:

  • Preferably with 1–2 years of experience as an AC Technician, ideally in hotels, resorts, or large facilities.
  • Experience in maintaining centralized air conditioning systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of hotel AC units (split type, window type, package units, VRF/VRV systems, and chiller systems).
  • Ability to diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with refrigerants, wiring diagrams, safety standards, and energy efficiency practices.
  • Skilled in using HVAC tools, testing devices, and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to work independently while ensuring minimal disruption to hotel guests and operations.
