Overview

Business Analysis Associate I - Home Lending (Consumer & Community Bank). The role bridges technology and business to drive change, provide critical application and test support for default and servicing systems, and serve as a liaison between IT, PO, HL UAT Management, and Business partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system enhancement and business change initiatives
• Act as liaison between Business, PO, and IT partners
• Provide change recommendations, identify key risks, and drive discussions as needed
• Conduct business due diligence for upcoming process changes impacting supported applications
• Create process flows, outlines, and meeting materials for visibility regarding changes
• Engage legal, compliance, controls, and risk partners for clarity and approval as needed
• Draft business requirements in accordance with Line of Business (LOB) direction
• Obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders, legal, compliance, risk, and controls partners on business requirements
• Translate business requirements into JIRA stories in partnership with PO, IT, and Business
• Collaborate with PO team and write/approve acceptance criteria for JIRA stories

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

• 4+ years relevant experience in software testing (requirements analysis, test design, test preparation, test execution, defect management)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in leading a testing project
• Experience with Agile project methodology and work environments
• Computer Science/Information Technology and/or related discipline
• Experience in preparing high quality presentational materials and documentation
• Must be able to perform in a high pressure, time sensitive environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Extensive experience in using test management tools (qTest, HP ALM, JIRA, Redmine, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

• Financial/ Mortgage background preferred
• Extensive experience in using SQL tools (Teradata/Oracle/Microsoft SQL/TOAD)
• Experience in using test automation tools (HP QTP/UFT, Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber, HP UFT, IDEs, Bitbucket, etc.)

Additional Information UAT Support

• Work closely with team manager to develop and lead a team of Analysts
• Lead by example and coach on key behaviors to drive results
• Provide oversight to assigned projects ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
• Collaborate with UAT test designers for effective test case design
• Collaborate with UAT Managers to ensure test execution timelines are met
• Assist with required loan conditioning/staging for test efforts
• Create and execute test scripts

Support Deployment Activities

• Validate post-production validation task checklist
• Collaborate with IT on post-release reporting needs
• Lead post-production efforts to ensure enhancements/products being released are working as expected

Production Support Management

• Manage production-related incidents and issue analysis
• Report tickets and collaborate with IT production support teams
