Wind Resource and GIS Engineer Syneria Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines Syneria is an independent Technical Advisory and Engineering Consultancy specializing in Wind and Solar PV, progressing on BESS as well. It helps developers, investors, and lenders develop, build, operate, finance, and transact profitable renewable energy projects. Founded in 2018 in France, Syneria now has 25 dedicated professionals across offices in France, Spain, and the Philippines, delivering a proven track record of over 30GW of renewable energy projects worldwide. Your Role A major part of the role will be related to ongoing project assignments on onshore wind projects, with potential exposure to solar PV projects and hybrid/BESS. You will also participate in proposal preparation and support business development activities. The main tasks will include: Feasibility studies using GIS: analysis of constraints, project layout definition, preliminary energy production estimate and potential optimisations; Wind measurement campaign design; Met mast tendering and installation management services; Wind data collection services; Bankable wind energy yield assessment using WindPRO & MeteoDyn; Yield assessment report review as part of Technical Due Diligence services; Site visits and met mast inspections; Development and improvement of internal tools; Quality Assurance of internal assessments and reports (review process); Support in the development of BESS-related services; Participation in Business Development activities through offer preparation, events, client meetings, and conference calls; Coordination with external partners and colleagues in France. You will receive a dedicated training program upon arrival in the Philippines and be mentored by a senior wind resource expert in Manila starting January 2026. Your Profile Passionate about Renewable Energy; Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering (energy, civil, mechanical, or electrical) preferably; Technical experience in wind energy yield assessment, ideally with WindPRO; At least 1 year of experience in a similar role for a project developer, EPC, institution or consultancy; Programming (Python) and data mining skills a bonus; Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel; Good teamwork capabilities and ability to work independently; Excellent report writing and presentation skills; Client‑oriented, service‑mindful, positive attitude toward work; Strong command of work under pressure, tight delivery deadlines, and high quality expectations; Fluent in Tagalog (Filipino nationals favored); Fluent in English (Basic French a plus but not required); Pro‑active, curious, pragmatic, solution‑oriented, self‑reliant; Willingness to live in Metro Manila, with offices in BGC, Taguig City; Package includes HMO Private Health Insurance and 5 working days per week (Monday‑Friday).
