This position is focused on achieving strategic goals and defining the objectives for our Education vertical, with autonomy to realize them. We aim to make education both personal and impactful by employing learning science and AI to deliver personalized instruction. What You Will Be Doing Designing the Education Domain: Develop and refine the master "Education Domain BrainLift," blending team and market insights into a unified strategy that informs key product decisions. Leading the Portfolio Strategy: Convert the Domain BrainLift into a results-focused roadmap for the entire product portfolio, defining a work sequence that delivers cumulative value and provides strategic guidance for your team's efforts. Hands-On Leadership: Function as a player-coach by tackling critical outcomes yourself to set a benchmark, while guiding your team through their iterations and enhancing their insights for synchronized portfolio execution. What You Won’t Be Doing Being solely a people manager. Your core responsibility is to lead the vertical's strategy and elevate execution standards, not merely manage personnel, budgets, and processes. Following a pre-defined top-down strategy. You are expected to author a comprehensive strategy for the vertical, built from grassroots insights. Developing static, long-term roadmaps. Your roadmap is dynamic, constantly evolving with weekly insights from your team's progress and your observations. Managing a "feature factory." Your success is measured by achieving the vertical's strategic goals, necessitating cross-product integration instead of isolated feature development. Basic Requirements Minimum of 6 years in a product leadership position where you crafted the product vision and owned the core problem-solution hypothesis. Experience in launching a successful product (not just a feature or module) that reached external users from inception to launch, achieving at least $1 million in revenue. Professional experience with AI in daily tasks such as research, analysis, synthesis, and strategy. We are a remote-first company that hires globally via Crossover. Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
