Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical expertise and a genuine passion for developing both people and systems. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in managing day-to-day laboratory operations and implementing strategic initiatives. Develop and execute plans that align with the organization’s objectives and goals. Foster collaboration and maintain effective professional relationships across departments. Make sound, data-driven decisions to support laboratory and business objectives. Mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback to team members. Ensure efficient workflow management and achievement of operational targets. Promote innovation through process, system, and service enhancements. FUNCTIONS Oversee the execution of laboratory activities to ensure operational efficiency. Lead continuous improvement and quality initiatives. Ensure laboratory readiness and proper response to emergency situations. Support performance management processes, including staff evaluation and feedback. Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures. Administer Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) programs. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety and preventive measures. Promote a strong culture of safety and adherence to established protocols. Apply technical and professional expertise to optimize laboratory operations. Oversee and facilitate staff training programs to strengthen team competencies. QUALIFICATIONS A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Must be a Licensed/Registered Medical Laboratory Scientist. Minimum of 5–8 years of laboratory experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
