Urgent Senior Software Engineer Azure Power BI

Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain and optimize the data pipeline architecture and implement it on Azure.
  • Design and implement large-scale data processing, storage, and transformations in Azure.
  • Design and deliver solutions using Azure analytics services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Event Hub, Azure Purview.
  • Identify, elicit and document project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI applications and reports.
  • Participate in the design, development, testing and implementation of ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake and SQL services.
  • Orchestrate data using Azure Data Factory by creating data pipelines and data flows.
  • Develop and maintain Azure Data Lake folders and data architecture.
  • Create an Azure data lake house to facilitate enterprise Power BI reporting.
  • Design, develop, test and implement Azure Data Factory enterprise integration, migration and dataflow solutions.
  • Develop and maintain SQL tables, indexes, stored procedures, views, and triggers for Power BI reporting using T-SQL; plan data ETL/ELT procedures with Azure Synapse.
  • Collaborate with other developers, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to design Azure solutions.
Requirements
  • Azure Data Platform experience, including Azure Databricks.
  • Create, maintain and optimize data pipeline architecture on Azure.
  • Experience with analytics services in Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Stream Analytics, Event Hub, Purview).
  • Identify and translate business requirements into technical specifications for Power BI reports.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, and Azure SQL.

  • Work with stakeholders to design Azure solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • The candidate must be willing to work in Laguna.
Must-Have Skills
  • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services): Strong ELT experience.
  • Azure Data Platform (including Azure Databricks): Deep hands-on experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Power Automate: Familiarity or working knowledge.
  • AI knowledge: General understanding of AI concepts and applications.
