• The Actuarial Manager for Par Management and Risk Modelling is responsible for delivering Par-related functions and initiatives, as well as producing various risk sensitivity results for Senior Management use within the Actuarial Valuation function.
  

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

• University degree with a strong mathematical or statistical background
• Associate or near-associate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines
• At least 8 years of Actuarial-related experience
• Strong knowledge and experience in handling Actuarial modeling software, preferably AXIS
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
  

Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)
Dividend Study

• Perform comprehensive annual dividend studies for traditional participating (par) products
• Develop and present well-supported dividend recommendations to the Chief Actuary
  

Par Reporting

• Manage the delivery of the quarterly valuation related to traditional par products such as Time Value of Guarantee (TVOG), Unallocated Dividend Liability (UDL) and Par expense adjustments
• Manage the preparation of relevant reports for OSFI regulatory requirements for traditional par products
  

Financial Condition Testing (FCT)

• Lead the completion of the annual FCT process
• Analyze results and prepare detailed reports on potential impacts for senior management
  

Risk Sensitivities

• Provide support in model development and maintenance for market and insurance risk sensitivity
• Prepare quarterly market and insurance risk sensitivity reports
  

Ad-hoc projects depending on business needs such as but not limited to

• Perform stochastic asset modelling using actuarial software
• Provide support on the semi-annual business plan projections
  

People Management

• Manage the overall performance of the team to deliver and meet team objectives and goals
