Senior Java Developer

Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level applications and integration solutions. The role involves leading technical design discussions, mentoring developers, and ensuring delivery of robust, scalable, and secure systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud environments, with a solid grasp of best practices in software engineering and system integration. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications and microservices. Drive architectural and technical decisions aligned with business and project goals. Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated enterprise solutions. Oversee code reviews and enforce coding standards, testing coverage, and documentation quality. Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and support knowledge-sharing within the team. Troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Stay current with emerging Java technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java application development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity. Deep expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.). Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms. Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and exposure to NoSQL databases. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. Preferred Skills Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or event-driven architectures. Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Background in DevOps practices or automation frameworks. Certification in Java, AWS, or related technologies is an advantage.
