General Objectives of the Job To establish company Objectives, Targets and Programs that will help the company on the preservation and protection of our natural resources, reduce the generation of company waste and establish mitigating measures on the controls of pollutions in the environmental aspect and impact on Air, Land, Water, Flora and Fauna and the Human living. Fields of Responsibility
  1. Prepare Environmental work plan and program
  2. Communicates Environmental program and guidelines to the Department Head
  3. Monitor implementation of Environmental regulation and requirements
  4. Conduct Environmental audits
  5. Conduct incident investigation in relation with Environmental aspect and impact.
  6. Monitor compliance with the requirements of PD 1586, RA 8749, RA 9003, RA 9275, and its IRR including Board Resolution
  7. Authority to stop activities and recommend sanction to violators on established Environmental rules and regulations.
  8. Coordinates proper and legal disposal of Hazardous waste
  9. Prepare SMR and CMR for compliance to DENR & LLDA requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Attend to the requirements of the establishment or agency prior to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the application and securing of necessary pollution permits and renewal thereof.
  2. Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities with the end in view of ensuring their compliance with the air , noise and water quality standards.
  3. Supervise the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the company.
  4. Report within reasonable time to DENR-EMB the breakdown of any pollution control facility, and the estimated and actual date of completion / repair and operation.
  5. Promptly submit validated / certified as corrected by Manufacturing Manager periodic reports as required by DENR-EMB and LLDA.
  6. As a liaison officer of DENR-EMB and LLDA, must be abreast with the requirements of the agency and the latest available technology on the prevention, control, and abatement of pollution.
  7. Maintain liaison with the city / provincial / municipal of local pollution control officers.
  8. Attend the meetings for Pollution Control Officers, which may from time to time be called by government agencies.
  9. Facilitate compliance of the company with the requirements that may time to time be prescribed by DENR-EMB and LLDA.
  10. Recommend to the management the installation and operation of additional equipment for the abatement facilities.
  11. Handle other matters of environmental concern as required by the company.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelors degree graduate preferably BSChE / BSME Graduate (Preferably with license)
  2. At least 2 years of experience in Environmental requirements.
  3. With knowledge in Pollution control facility operation.
  4. Amenable for 6 days workweek schedule
  5. Willing for Shifting Schedule
  6. Willing to work onsite inCalle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
