With Metrobank, a meaningful life is within your reach Position: Collections Support Department Head Job Summary: The primary objective is to ensure efficiency and effectiveness by providing timely & accurate intelligence and analyses of collections and recoveries performance. Additionally, to ensure efficient operations of the department by overseeing all systems and software of the department involving databases and reportorial requirements, by directing adherence/compliance to the policies, mandatory instructions and regulatory guidelines, and by managing support functions including vendor management of some admin functions. Ensures that strategies are monitored by driving the MIS team to assist in controlling credit losses and maximize collections and recoveries. The role also manages the following functions: Collections Systems MI Reports Policies and Strategies Collections Training Quality Control Back Office Functions Qualifications: With 8 - 13 years of experience working with collections statistical data; three years of which must be in a managerial capacity. Strong/Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of IT, programming (e.g. SAS, SQL, VB, Sybase, etc.), and other call center technology a plus. Experience in automated collection systems (e.g. Cardlink, CACS) and predictive dialer an advantage (e.g. Aspect UIP and ALM). Has a broad understanding of the different segments of the credit card business and the capacity to relate unit’s operations and performance metrics to the overall business of the company.
