Operations Manager role at Q2 HR Solutions
The Operations Manager is responsible for the full-spectrum performance of the business unit—leading both strategic direction and day-to-day execution across key areas: talent sourcing and recruitment, client and account management, employee engagement, service delivery, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. This role requires a results-oriented leader with deep expertise in Philippine labor regulations—particularly DOLE Department Order 174—and a proven track record of growing revenue, building strong client partnerships, and managing large-scale teams in the manpower services sector.
Core Responsibilities & Competencies
Revenue Growth & Profitability
- Drive revenue performance through strategic client acquisition and expansion.
- Manage end-to-end P&L with a focus on cost efficiency and financial sustainability.
- Implement data-driven strategies to optimize margins and operational output.
Client Acquisition & Retention
- Lead business development initiatives to onboard new clients and penetrate new markets.
- Strengthen client engagement through proactive relationship management.
- Monitor and elevate customer satisfaction using structured feedback mechanisms.
Operational Efficiency
- Design and implement standardized, scalable operational processes.
- Oversee the use of recruitment technologies (ATS, CRM) for seamless operations.
- Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance across platforms and systems.
Compliance & Legal Governance
- Rigorously enforce compliance with DO 174, labor standards, and contractual obligations.
- Establish internal controls and audit protocols to safeguard legal and ethical standards.
- Oversee client service delivery to ensure SLAs and compliance metrics are met.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Generate and analyze performance dashboards for executive review.
- Facilitate coordination across departments to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Present business updates and operational insights to senior leadership and clients.
- Maintain high-quality candidate and client databases.
- Champion the effective use of ATS/CRM tools to support recruitment and client servicing.
- Uphold strict adherence to data privacy and protection regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act).
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in manpower or staffing operations.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership or general management capacity.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, geographically distributed teams.
- Proven track record in growing accounts, improving profitability, and leading change initiatives.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws, particularly DOLE DO 174
- Experience with leadership roles spanning 5+ years
- Manpower agency experience preferred
- Advanced skills in P&L management, budget planning, and financial forecasting
- Strong capabilities in business development, contract negotiation, and client growth strategy
- Proficient in ATS/CRM systems, database management, and digital recruitment platforms
- Skilled in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning
- Inspirational leader with excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
