Develop and maintain APIs and server-side logic using Node.js and TypeScript. Build and consume RESTful services using Express.js, and contribute to scalable API design. Integrate with cloud services such as Firebase (e.g., Firestore, Auth, Functions) and AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway). Work with front-end teams to define and implement clear backend contracts and support seamless integration. Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure service reliability and stability. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions, contributing to backend architecture decisions. Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and deployment issues in production and staging environments. Implement authentication, authorization, and data validation following industry security standards. Design and manage database schemas (SQL or NoSQL) and optimize queries for performance. Contribute to DevOps tasks such as CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, and cloud deployment scripting. Monitor backend services using logging and observability tools (e.g., Firebase Monitoring, AWS CloudWatch, Sentry). Document backend processes, API endpoints, and data flows for internal team use and cross-team collaboration. Job Qualifications: 3+ years of professional experience in back-end development using Node.js and TypeScript. Strong working knowledge of Express.js for building and managing RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Firebase Functions, Firestore, or Realtime Database is a plus. Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, or a strong willingness to learn. Understanding of modern development practices, including modular code design, version control, and automated testing. Solid knowledge of data modeling and experience working with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). Experience with debugging tools, performance monitoring, and error handling strategies in production-grade environments. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker) is a plus. Working knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., Firebase Auth, JWT, OAuth). Ability to collaborate effectively with front-end teams, designers, and product owners to deliver robust full-stack features. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within agile teams. Passion for clean code, continuous learning, and staying current with backend technologies and patterns.
