We are looking for a highly qualified Architectural Design Drafter experienced in Revit/BIM Software, who can work alongside a number of specialists at our company. The role will be responsible for the preparation of architectural designs and structural drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, and ensuring that design drawings conform to specifications provided. To be successful as a draftsman, you should have solid experience in 3D Modelling and Revit. They will demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and have sound knowledge of the discipline they draft for. An effective communicator and possesses proactive forward-thinking attitude. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of design & construction process with the chance to learn and take the next steps in your career Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent software. Apply and interpret U.S. building codes, ADA standards, and local zoning regulations while utilizing U.S. (imperial) measurement systems. Conduct structural drafting and modeling of building and infrastructure engineering projects in Revit, ensuring compliance with required standards. Prepare detailed site plans, elevations, sections, schedules (area, door, and window), and construction details. Perform calculations related to materials, load, and weight limitations to support design integrity. Prepare both rough sketches and detailed technical drawings as required. Conduct and coordinate internal reviews and quality checks of drawings and project documentation. Update and revise drawings based on redlines, field notes, and project revisions, maintaining organized drawing records and document control. Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure project intent is accurately reflected in drawings. Identify and communicate potential design problems or constructability issues to the project team. Ensure all final designs comply with applicable building regulations and client standards. Assist in preparing plans and documentation for permit and approval submittals. Prepare 3D colored renderings, site plans, and rendered walkthroughs of buildings and developments. Perform other ad hoc duties relevant to the role, supporting the team in delivering high-quality design solutions. Education and Work Experience: With a minimum of three (3) experience as an Architectural Designer/Drafter. Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture. Must have an experience working with REVIT, BIM and 3D modelling. Has high attention to details and able to deliver projects within the timeline. Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to think outside the box and proactively execute exquisite designs.
