Mobile And Tablet Applications Testing.

Overview

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that ensure the quality and functionality of mobile and tablet applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop testing strategies, executing test cases, and identifying defects. You will also participate in discussions to enhance testing processes and contribute to the overall improvement of application quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation / contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile and tablet applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on application functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Mobile and Tablet Applications Testing.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and continuous integration.
• Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Mobile and Tablet Applications Testing.
• This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
