Job Description

Overview

The FP&A Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making within the organization. By conducting detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, the FP&A Analyst provides actionable insights that support business objectives and ensure financial health.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements; conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budgets and forecasts; develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights; monitor KPIs and identify the cause of variances.
  • Planning: Prepare and review annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans; monitor budget performance and provide recommendations; evaluate potential investments and acquisitions; collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers; conduct special analyses (profitability studies, investment evaluations, cost-benefit analyses).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Expert financial modeling and analytical skills; strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams; strong attention to detail and results-driven mindset.
