Role Overview The Senior IT Auditor will play a key role in evaluating the design and effectiveness of technology‑related controls across companies' systems and processes. This role will focus on SOX ITGCs, application controls and system implementation reviews, as well as providing advisory support on technology initiatives. This is a hands‑on role in a lean audit function – ideal for a self‑starter who can independently execute audits and partner with IT, Finance and compliance teams. Key Responsibilities Perform testing and evaluation of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT‑dependent manual controls in support of SOX compliance. Review system implementations, upgrades, and integrations to assess control design, data migration integrity, and risk mitigation. Evaluate controls across cloud‑based systems. Collaborate with process owners and IT teams to identify control gaps and recommend practical, risk‑based remediation. Support development and continuous improvement of the IT audit methodology and documentation standards. Assist in evaluating information security and access management controls, including user provisioning, password policies and segregation of duties. Prepare detailed audit workpapers and clear, concise audit reports. Contribute to special projects, investigations, and advisory reviews as requested by management or the Audit Committee. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Accounting or related fields. 5+ years of IT audit experience (Internal audit or Big 4/consulting preferred). Strong knowledge of SOX 404 ITGCs, system change management, logical access and computer operations. Experience auditing cloud‑based platform and SaaS environments. Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, NIST or COSO. CISA, CISSP, or CPA certification preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable business insights. Self‑motivated, organized and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment. Schedule Monday to Friday 9 pm to 6 am PHT.
