Overview Job Title: Logistics Specialist Location: Remote Reports To: Director of Operations/ Supply Chain Manager Work Shift: Monday to Friday flexi with overlapWorking Hours: 15-20 hours per week Job Summary The Logistics Specialist is a strategic role responsible for evaluating and optimizing the end-to-end logistics setup across Move’s client base. This includes analyzing current 3PL contracts, in-house operations, and freight arrangements to develop effective, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. The role focuses on designing strategies that enhance service performance, reduce logistics costs, and support client growth. Responsibilities Evaluate the performance and cost-efficiency of existing 3PL contracts and logistics providers. Assess in-house vs. outsourced logistics setups to determine the most optimal model for each client. Design customized logistics solutions covering warehousing, fulfillment, and freight management. Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational gaps across supply chain operations. Support solution development for new clients and projects, including budget modeling and process design. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Client Success, Finance) to align logistics strategy with client needs. Monitor industry trends and emerging best practices to ensure competitive advantage in service design. Develop and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years experience in logistics, supply chain strategy, or 3PL operations. Strong background in logistics contract evaluation, freight analysis, or solution design. Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with cost modeling preferred. Strong communication skills with ability to present complex recommendations clearly. Experience working in a remote, fast-paced, and client-driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
