This role is based in our head office in Mandaluyong, City

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and review all disbursements, including supplier payments, operating expenses, and other obligations via bank transfers, wire transfers, and checks.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of disbursements, especially during peak e-commerce seasons.
  • Conduct regular audits of disbursement records and inventory transactions to ensure proper documentation and controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements by consolidating and providing organized data.
  • Lead month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Supervise and coach accounting staff, fostering accountability, accuracy, and teamwork.
  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely submission of schedules and supporting documents.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline disbursement, inventory, and month-end closing processes.
  • Stay updated on accounting compliance requirements relevant to e-commerce operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license preferred but not required.
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience, with focus on disbursements, accounts payable, or audit.
  • Experience in month-end closing and inventory audits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good leadership and communication skills with a collaborative, problem-solving approach.
