QAQC Engineer

About the role SYC Philippine Corporation is seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time QA/QC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our construction projects, contributing to the overall success of the organisation. What you'll be doing About the role As a QA/QC Engineer for SYC Philippine Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and implementing best practices to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients. What you'll be doing - Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan, Method Statements (MS) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). - Inspect, test, and verify construction materials for compliance with approved specifications. - Review material test reports, mix designs, certifications, and ensure full compliance with standards. - Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs, CARs, and conformance logs. - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients regarding quality requirements. - Conduct inspections and audits, and enforce corrective/preventive actions. - Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved method statements and project specifications. - Issue NCRs and recommend stoppage of work if standards are not met. - Supervise subcontractor QA/QC personnel and verify their compliance. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports for management. - Ensure compliance with QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety, Health) standards. - Perform additional duties as may be reasonably assigned by management What we're looking for Registered Civil Engineer Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry Thorough understanding of construction standards, codes, and regulations Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques, such as inspections, testing, and documentation Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to work independently and as part of a team What we offer At SYC Philippine Corporation, we are committed to providing a nurturing work environment that supports the growth and development of our employees.
