Technology Architect

Overview

Join Globe Telecom as a Technology Architect (B2B Tribe). The B2B Tribe is looking for a Solution Architect who will lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions that empower Globe Telecom’s enterprise clients. This role requires strong Telco domain knowledge, cloud-native architecture expertise, and the ability to align solutions with business goals and technical best practices. You will drive end-to-end architecture across BSS/OSS systems, integration services, and customer-facing applications, with a focus on high-performance, secure, and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end architecture across enterprise BSS/OSS systems and Telco integration points, incorporating best practices in solution, integration, and security architecture.
• Lead and define scalable and cost-effective solutions on AWS or GCP, leveraging cloud-native services, infrastructure as code, and cloud migration strategies.
• Architect containerized and orchestrated services using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring consistency and resilience across environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate decision-making, guide solution trade-offs, and ensure alignment between technical and business strategies.
• Evaluate and promote architecture patterns that align with Agile principles, supporting iterative delivery, real-time feedback, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Champion DevSecOps practices by embedding CI/CD, monitoring, security scanning, and logging into all architecture designs.
• Innovate and implement systems that support a 360° customer view, identity federation, and compliance-driven workflows (e.g., SIM registration).

What You Bring to the Table

• Architectural Design & Principles:
  • Solution architecture patterns, integration strategies, and security frameworks
  • Cloud cost optimization and multi-region scalability
  • Design for resilience, availability, and fault tolerance
• Telco Domain Knowledge:
  • Understanding of Telco networks, protocols, and standards
  • Experience in BSS/OSS systems and service flows
  • Familiarity with Telco industry standards and interoperability best practices
• Cloud Computing Expertise:
  • Architecture experience in AWS and/or GCP
  • Hands-on use of Infrastructure as Code
  • Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, and compliance
• Agile & Collaboration:
  • Agile delivery experience with cross-functional squads
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and iterative design mindset
• Problem Solving & Analysis:
  • Critical thinking and complex system troubleshooting
  • Data-driven decision making and performance optimization
• Communication & Influence:
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Ability to articulate architectural concepts to both technical and business audiences
• Preferred Tech Stack & Tools:
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP
  • Programming Languages: Java, Python, Go, Node.js
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, GCP Deployment Manager
  • API Management: Kong, Tyk, native cloud solutions
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
  • Monitoring & Logging: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Google Cloud Build
  • Security Tools & Concepts: IAM, vulnerability scanning, security policies
  • Networking: Protocols, routing, load balancing, firewall rules
