Geotechnical Design Engineer – GHD, Makati or Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines Overview Join GHD as a Geotechnical Design Engineer. This role supports the lead design engineer in delivering safe client designs. Responsibilities include preparing or reviewing technical reports and design work, assisting with projects on slopes, roads, and foundations, and coordinating calculations, specifications, and drawings. Collaborate closely with colleagues across service lines and business groups to deliver sustainable solutions. Responsibilities Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently. Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations: Contribute to well proposals by providing complex analysis and interpretation of geological/geophysical field data. Involves using advanced modeling techniques. Reservoir Characterization and Analysis: Assist with reservoir characterization and simulation by compiling reservoir engineering data and helping to analyze it. Includes data from flow tests, well tests, and historical production data. Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development and feasibility testing of engineering solutions, providing feedback and data to validate the design. Knowledge Management: Implement policies and processes, collect best practices and case studies, and participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to capture and share knowledge on project outcomes and innovative practices. Data Management: Support data management systems by providing guidance and assistance. Technical Developments Recommendation: Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs. Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities through assessments, training, coaching, and external accreditation where relevant; stay informed of relevant technology and industry best practices through ongoing education. Technical Troubleshooting: Aid in quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments. Research: Carry out a range of research activities to support others or fulfill role requirements. Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals. Exploration Plan Development: Design exploration programs, including risk assessment and budgeting. Client & Customer Management (External): Support senior colleagues in managing client relationships using relevant systems. Education Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Experience General Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience with the ability to handle most situations and advise others. Supervision Experience: Includes general supervision of junior colleagues (approximately 7–12 months). Eligibility This job offer is based in Makati or Quezon City Office.
