Overview

The Corporate Sales Trader generates volume and income in domestic and foreign money market investments by soliciting from Institutional, Insurance and Corporate accounts.

Your Impact
  1. Trades both domestic money market and foreign exchange deals with clients, encodes these transactions via Kondor Plus (K+) and ensures that the workflow of transactions performs smoothly and accurately through proper coordination with the settlement branch and other concerned units of the bank.
  2. Conducts regular marketing calls to existing and prospective accounts and cross-sells other bank products and services through the following:
    • Visiting prospective and existing clients to promote financial instruments offered by the bank.
    • Investing funds of Institutional and Corporate Accounts in pertinent financial instruments to meet liquidity requirements and other strategies set forth by the bank.
    • Coordinating with key marketing groups such as Global Banking Conglomerates/MNCs and Local Corporates in identifying business opportunities for the bank.
    • Attending to other special needs of clients through consultative selling or by referring them to other servicing units of the bank.
  3. Provides market feedback with regards to client preferences and rates offered by competitors, number of clients and product mix.
  4. Identifies business opportunities and suggests strategic direction to meet budgetary goals.
  5. Prepares a databank of all relevant information for clients such as:
  • List of GM Sales product maturities
  • Schedule of Customer Calls
  • Pipeline Monthly Report
Your Profile
  • College graduate, preferably of business related courses
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in-depth knowledge of Treasury products with intensive market network
  • Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Licensed Fixed Income Salesman
  • Foreign Exchange Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • Banker’s Association of the Philippines-ADMU Fixed Income
  • Good in written and oral communication
  • Excellent in customer services and presentation skills
  • Knowledge in doing complex transactions with excellent presentation and problem solving skills
