Automation QA

Qualifications Obtained a Bachelor’s or College degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or related field. Must have experience in Playwright with at least two (2) years; prior manual Quality Assurance and/or testing experience and at least three to four (3-4) years in Automation Quality Assurance and/or testing; with professional knowledge in Java, JavaScript, C, C#, and shell scripting. Must have experience in AccelQ and/or Test Complete automation tools. Working knowledge in different types of testing, including white box and grey box testing. Working knowledge of at least one test automation framework (BDD, KDT, DDT) and a backend automation framework (Postman, SoapUI, Rest API). Working knowledge of any database technology (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB). Experience in creating a Master test plan. In-depth understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies and SDLC (Waterfall and Agile Methodologies). Substantial knowledge of QA testing tools, different test approaches, standards and processes. Exposure in business operations related to manufacturing, distribution and financial operations is an advantage. Experience in various system development environments. Analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced communication ability. Detail-oriented with good time management skills. High flexibility in shifting schedule and extended working hours; readiness to travel to other sites. Job Responsibilities QA Process Knowledge: understand and comply with the defined and agreed Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards of the organization. Understand various testing approaches, including System, Integration and Regression tests. Develop and establish automation strategies and processes for the organization. Design, develop and maintain automation testing (creation, execution and maintenance of automated test scripts). Collaborate with the Manual Quality Team for test cases to be automated; execute manual test cases when necessary. Implement and monitor automation processes and create status reports for progress. Provide inputs to improve tools and the environment of the existing automation framework. Enhance the architecture of the automation framework and test scripts in collaboration with the Senior Automation Quality Analyst. Apply a variety of testing techniques to deliver product releases (functional, regression, system). Collaborate with the automation engineering team and contribute to overall automation efforts. Create test plans and test effort estimations for small to medium projects. Execute test scripts, identify correct system behavior, reproduce and report defects. Test and certify software defect fixes and new functionality; perform functional, application and regression testing for releases. Write clear and precise defect reports and Test Summary Reports or Test Acceptance Certificates. Collaborate with the Senior Automation Quality Analyst in peer reviews of automated test cases and test summaries. Review and analyze test results and make recommendations. Enforce quality procedures and guidelines across the Software Development Life Cycle. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA procedures and guidelines. Satisfy customers by providing clear testing specifications and ensuring quality products according to requirements. Demonstrate understanding of business concerns and provide sound business suggestions as appropriate. Administrative: record activities in ATLAS and escalate issues as needed; conduct audits to ensure CMMI procedure compliance; prepare and submit required reports. Mentor and guide Automation Quality Analyst I; teamwork: coordinate with development and support teams; facilitate effective team interaction; help others to ensure service continuity. Learning and Development: expand knowledge of business processes; stay abreast of technology, system information, issues and updates relevant to the team.
