Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. The PT will evaluate and treat patients to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. This role involves designing personalized care plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Patient Evaluation and DiagnosisAssess patients' medical history, physical condition, and functional limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis and goals. Therapeutic InterventionsAdminister physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation). Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications. Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate patient records, documenting evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies. Collaboration and CommunicationWork closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Communicate treatment plans and progress to patients and their families. Patient AdvocacyPromote patient independence and quality of life through education and empowerment. Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment. Education and Licensure Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Licensure: Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience and Skills Experience: New graduates welcome, though clinical experience in rehabilitation, outpatient, or acute care is preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and evidence-based practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire patients to achieve their goals. Work Environment Work may take place in outpatient clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or patients’ homes.
