Responsibilities

• Review electrical project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work.
• Analyze and interpret technical data to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information.
• Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals for electrical projects.
• Conduct cost analysis and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain favorable pricing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all estimates and bids.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry developments.

Required qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry, particularly in the electrical sector.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation methods.
• Software: Proficient in estimating software and tools, such as simPRO, Groundplan, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Accubid, ConEst, or similar applications.
• Codes: Familiarity with NEC and local building regulations.

Non-Negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for accurate cost estimations.
• Effective negotiation and communication abilities to build partnerships.

• Compensation: Up to ₱60,000 (depending on experience)
• Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PH Time)
• Work Setup: Remote
• Tech Stack: Estimating Software (simPRO, Groundplan, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Accubid, ConEst), Drawing/Design Software (e.g., AutoCAD, BlueBeam) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Reports to: Project Manager
