Payroll Analyst - HR Operations - PH ByteDance Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines Overview The HROP Payroll Ops team strives to be a trusted partner to employees, handling sensitive data with integrity while driving systematization and process optimization to deliver a positive end-to-end employee experience in salary and benefits processing. We aim to lead payroll operations by providing excellent support to employees to help them excel in their careers. The ideal candidate is passionate, highly independent, self-driven with a growth mindset, and eager to learn and grow with the team. Responsibilities Responsible for monthly end-to-end payroll activities such as collating and validating inputs, outputs, and statutory reporting. Participate in the improvement and implementation of payroll processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support payroll and benefits processes in line with new policies or changes in laws and regulations. Provide payroll reporting and analysis with the Finance team and assist with internal and external audits. Manage payroll vendors effectively by strictly adhering to contracts and SLAs. Develop relationships with authorities (e.g., Social Security, Tax, etc.). Collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR Operations to elevate the employee experience. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Hands-on, strong functional knowledge of payroll and tax. Proven track record in payroll verification and checking skills. Experience in legal and compliance audits in payroll (income taxes, statutory social securities). Strong influence and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: 4 years of in-house payroll operation experience. Bachelor’s degree or higher. Vendor management and project management skills. Experience in payroll system implementation.
