Job Description: The Accounting Assistant is responsible for various accounting functions, including preparing account payable ledgers, cheques, and cheque vouchers. They also handle releasing check payments to suppliers, update currency lists, and prepare suppliers' 2307 forms. Key Responsibilities: Prepares Account Payable Ledger/Transaction Journal Prepares Cheque and Check Voucher Prepares Telegraphic Transfer & Processing Handles the releasing of check payment to suppliers Bill payments updates on QuickBooks after releasing Updates currency list in QB/SAP Updates BIR books of accounts - Purchase Book and JV Preparation of Suppliers 2307 Filing of AP related documents Updating of the balance sheet account schedules Requirements: Graduate from BS Accountancy or any business-related course Must be computer literate, analytical, innovative, flexible, result-oriented, team player, and honest Works with integrity, and resourcefulness, and has good time management skills Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 3–5 years in general accounting, payroll, or financial reporting. Proficient in MS Excel, accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, ERP, etc.). Ability to manage multiple accounting processes and meet deadlines. CPA preferred but not mandatory.
