Overview Social Media Analyst at NuWorks Interactive Labs, Inc. The Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data related to digital marketing efforts. They play a crucial role in providing actionable insights that drive marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance. The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar position in the digital marketing industry. Proven track record in driving marketing insights and optimizing campaign performance. Responsibilities Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing data, including website traffic, user behavior, campaign performance, and customer demographics. Interpret data to extract actionable insights that inform marketing strategies and tactics. Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and provide regular performance updates to stakeholders. Market Research and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and consumer behaviors. Analyze market trends and provide recommendations for adapting strategies to meet evolving market demands. Campaign Optimization and Performance Tracking: Monitor and optimize digital marketing campaigns based on performance metrics and KPIs. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements. Customer Behavior and Persona Development: Analyze customer behavior data to create detailed buyer personas. Provide insights on customer preferences, pain points, and behaviors to inform marketing strategies. Assist in tailoring campaigns to specific customer segments for improved targeting. Key Competencies and Skills Expertise in data analysis with proficiency in Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, CRM systems, and other analytics platforms. Proficiency in marketing automation software, A/B testing, and digital advertising platforms. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Familiarity with SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting insights and recommendations. Excellent project management and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Effective negotiation skills and resource management. Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills with experience presenting thoughts, ideas, and data. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides). Emotional intelligence with the ability to empathize, listen actively, and build strong relationships; customer-centric. Ability to work effectively in teams, collaborate with colleagues, and build consensus. Adaptability to changing business needs, shifting priorities, and new technologies; innovation-oriented with creative problem-solving.
