Position Title: Account (Pricing) Analyst Job Summary The Account (Pricing) Analyst is responsible for preparing and recommending competitive pricing proposals for supermarket and retail clients. This position ensures that all price quotations are aligned with company margins, market trends, and client agreements, supporting the brokerage’s goal of maintaining profitability and strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Conducting comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to gather insights on pricing trends and industry benchmarks Developing and maintaining pricing models that align with the company's strategic objectives and customer needs Collaborating with the marketing and sales teams to ensure pricing decisions are integrated with broader go-to-market strategies Analyze cost structures, market trends, and client requirements to recommend appropriate pricing strategies and support the preparation of pricing reports, forecasts, and profitability analyses. Monitor and update price lists based on supplier cost changes, market fluctuations, and company directives, in coordination with the Accounting or Finance team to ensure pricing accuracy and profitability. Collaborate with suppliers, key account officers, and customer service representatives to ensure goods are shipped in accordance with agreed terms (e.g., Incoterms, packaging specifications) and maintain organized records of client price agreements, revisions, and related communications to ensure consistent pricing execution. Identify pricing opportunities to enhance competitiveness and client satisfaction by providing data-driven insights to support pricing decisions and optimize cost structures while maintaining target SRPs. Work closely with internal teams to ensure that logistics costs (freight, duties, handling) are accurately captured in landed cost calculation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. At least 2-3 years of experience in pricing, sales support, or account management, preferably in a brokerage, FMCG, or logistics company. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge in SAP or similar systems is an advantage. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Keen attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
