About The Team

To coordinate and supervise warehouse activities such as inbound, sorting and outbound on a daily basis. Receiving parcels in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, and assuring quality of parcels.

Job Description

To coordinate and supervise warehouse activities such as inbound, sorting and outbound on a daily basis. Receiving parcels in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, and assuring quality of parcels.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor functional team members including the Shift In-Charge
  • Create schedules and monitor tasks and duties; performance evaluations including appraisals, coaching and development; monitor daily attendance
  • Manage functional processes
  • Support and encourage the team to perform at their best
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of all inbound, sortpack and outbound procedures and use tools and equipment
  • Ensure shipments and inventory transactions are accurate
  • Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, sorting and dispatch of parcels
  • Orderly stacking of product
  • Ensure parcels are processed accurately, timely and free of damage
  • Quality is not compromised
  • Ensure team members wear protective gear and adhere to instructions
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Reporting: provide reports to SOC Operations Lead and/or SOC Lead when requested; produce internal performance reporting for throughput, quality and trends
  • Update tracker and create reports regularly
  • Health and Safety: ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation; conduct internal audits as requested; maintain Good Housekeeping standards; investigate accidents or near-misses
  • Communication: conduct regular meetings on targets and achievements; escalate issues to senior management
  • Projects / Continuous Improvement: evaluate processes and suggest improvements; contribute ideas to increase operations efficiency; devise strategies to reduce sort packing costs without compromising quality
  • Any other duties as identified; solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization
Requirements
  • Strong performance management, communication and time management skills
  • Equivalent experience of a warehouse supervisor from 3 years and above; same industry experience is a plus; experience in warehouse automation is a plus
  • Comfortable delivering and receiving frequent, direct written and oral feedback
  • Critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset
  • Fluency in Google Sheets & Slides (MUST)
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Willing to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna
