We are seeking a Mid- Level test automation engineer with 3+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate will have built a strong foundation with an initial focus on manual testing and will have spent the last two years actively engaged in a blended role incorporating both manual and test automation practices. In this role you will play a key role in enhancing our quality assurance practices by contributing to the shift towards full test automation. Collaborating closely with the QA Lead, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will implement robust testing strategies and contribute to our culture of quality and innovation. Core QA Experience

• Proficient in various types of manual testing, functional, including exploratory, regression.
• Solid understanding of the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) for effective test management and documentation.

Technical and Automation Skills

• Proven experience in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks and tests for both frontend (ReactJS) and backend (.NET Core) applications.
• Experience with various test automation frameworks, with a keen interest in using Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in coding with JavaScript or TypeScript for automation purposes.
• Skilled in API testing to validate data integrity and system functionality.
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like SpecFlow using C#.
• Knowledge of SQL for writing complex queries and data validation.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity) to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline.

Specialized Knowledge (Nice to have)

• Experience with accessibility testing based on WCAG standards.
• A strong understanding of performance and security testing principles.

Test Automation

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend, frontend, and mobile applications using tools like Playwright and Detox.
• Participate in functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
• Assist in implementing testing frameworks and strategies that align with our CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity or Jenkins.
• Conduct API testing, ensuring thorough validation of application functionalities.
• Utilize SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.

Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to prioritize, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Contribute to ensuring compliance with WCAG standards and promote accessibility testing to uphold inclusive design principles.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to enhancing testability and quality in software design.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test automation and QA methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, implementing innovative solutions to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure overall product quality and security.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to software quality (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
• Assist in quality audits and represent test automation in compliance assessments and certifications.
