Quality and Process Excellence Manager

About the Role Location: Ermita, Manila Role Type: Full-time (Onsite) Department: Corporate Planning, Assurance and Governance - QMS Reporting to: CPAG Director Supervises: QMS Specialists and Process Engineers and Associates The Quality and Process Excellence Manager lead efforts to develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and overall business and functional processes in alignment with ISO standards and Company strategic goals. Other requirements include the following: Effectively manages individuals/teams to optimize their productivity and engagement which includes work planning, performance management, development and coaching, and team culture management. Establish dashboards and metrics for monitoring business and process performance in coordination with the Information Technology (IT ) Department. Analyzes Business Performance Data, Key Result Areas (KRAs) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and gaps, and provide recommendations for improvement and process enhancements. Drive a culture of operational excellence by building QMS capability across teams and enabling process owners to institutionalize standardized, efficient, and continually improving business processes workflows Leads and manages process mapping, standardization, and optimization initiatives to reduce waste, errors, and cycle time.process efficiency and improvement projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes and drive measurable improvements. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to facilitate change, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices and handover between functions ((e.g., Sales → Supply Chain → Operations → Finance) Researches and stays updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in process improvement and operational excellence. Qualifications Graduate of any Engineering course, preferably an Industrial Engineer. At least eight (8) years of similar work experience in a selling, marketing, distribution and manufacturing environment, at least (5) years' experience in a managerial capacity. Proficiency in quality management principles and methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and other quality models and tools. Project Management to effectively plan, execute, and monitor process improvement projects and initiatives. Strategic Planning to align and lead change initiatives with organizational goals. Analytical skills to derive insights and recommend solutions/improvements based on available data sets. Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of process issues and develop innovative solutions. Knowledge of international standards such as ISO 9001/ ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ ISO 17025 and expertise in tailoring them to the organization's needs. Interpersonal relationship to effectively navigate diverse interactions, foster teamwork, and maintain a positive organizational culture. Effective Communication to articulate ideas, instructions, and feedback clearly and persuasively. Leadership and people management to ensure collaborations are smooth, decisions are well-informed, and both team and business objectives are consistently understood and met.
