Overview

Link Energie Industries Co. Inc. is a construction company with 22 years of experience specializing in water infrastructure projects such as pipelaying works, wastewater facilities, and reservoir engineering. We are currently managing seven ongoing projects across Greater Metro Manila in partnership with Manila Water and Maynilad. Safety is our top priority. We ensure safety standards are implemented consistently across our different operations.

With this, we are looking for Safety Officers who are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. They will play a critical role in implementing EHS policies and procedures across our project sites.

Role

As a Safety Officer, you will be expected to:

  • Develops, implements and monitors policies, procedures and programs in compliance with local/national regulations and company safety policies by maintaining accurate records, completing regular safety reports, and submitting necessary documentation to management and DOLE.
  • Monitor and track safety metrics on site.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards at project sites and recommend corrective actions to mitigate or eliminate hazards in the workplace.
  • Provide and maintain statistical data, reports and analysis of accident/incident trends to operation in support of accident/incident reduction goals and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety.
  • Establish effective communication skills and coordination among Project Managers, Project Site Engineers, Project Site Staff, Clients, construction site workers, and subcontractors on site, regarding safety related protocols.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response drills and ensure readiness of emergency equipment.
  • Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, orientations and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of any 4-year course with at least three (3) years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry or related field.
  • Completed the government mandated training in Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) ; advanced specialized training is an advantage.
  • With Occupational Safety and Health Practitioner is an advantage.
  • Supervisory experience as Safety Officer; with proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. Experience overseeing laborers/workers in a construction site.
  • Excellent leadership and strong communication in written, oral, presentation/facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO Regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Standards and Safety Act (RA 11058), Department Order 252-25, Workplace Safety and Environmental Protection Act.
  • Preferred training certificates: Scaffolding and Working at heights, Confined Space, Welding, Loss Control Management (LCM), HIRAC.
