Role Description The Procurement Associate is responsible for processing Purchase Requisitions/ Orders from sourcing of suppliers, canvassing/running tenders, negotiating up to monitoring of the timely delivery of materials and services needed by the company. He or she ensures that the purchases are processed based on the approved Approval Matrix. He or she will work closely with the company’s internal clients and ensures that procurement policies, processes and procedures are enforced while meeting the set KPIs. Essential Functions Ensures on-time processing and fulfillment of Purchase Requisitions/Purchase Orders o Conducts sourcing and tender/bidding activities using the company’s procurement systems Drives cost savings through strategic sourcing Facilitates accreditation process along with the Global Procurement Back-Office (GPBO) group and maintains good supplier partnership Collaborates with Global Procurement Back-Office (GPBO) group for contract preparation and monitoring Extends procurement support to any ICTSI subsidiaries or related companies as deemed necessary Job Requirements and Competencies Skills and Abilities Excellent Written and Oral Communication, good command in English Unquestioned Integrity o Excellent Time Management/Prioritization skills Can work under minimal supervision – proactive, exudes sense of responsibility and urgency Strong interpersonal skills Critical Thinker - strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills Knowledge and Experience Demonstrate basic knowledge on: Negotiation o Supply Chain Management Use of MS Office applications; Use of E-Procurement Systems. Ideally SAP ARIBA and SAP ECC (Materials Management module) Project Management Educational Attainment: At least a Bachelor’s/ College Degree, preferably under Supply Chain Management/ Business Studies Work Experience At least five (5) years of work experience in the Procurement field, preferably Buyer role. Licenses/ Certificates Supply Chain Management-related certification is not required, but is an advantage Working Environment Office Field (if necessary) #J-18808-Ljbffr
