Role Summary Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for processing simple and complex maintenance activities within a set procedures/guidelines prescribed. Safekeeping of all original trust documents, wills, sundries and family business files. Performs an annual physical inventory of all sundry assets on record, provides various ancillary services such as tax cost report mailing, no investment responsibility, product changes, IM fee payments, asset restrictions, imaging, etc. Major Duties Responsible for delivery of middle office services to Wealth Management and Institutional client servicing teams. Facilitate activities required to validate documentation, open and set up new accounts, transition assets, implement product solutions and set up global markets. Ensures activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Interact with internal partner groups, external parties or with the clients to provide resolution to client issues and requests. Responsible for identifying and resolving more complex problems within established guidelines. Carrying out activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management. Able to serve as a subject matter expert to other more junior level employees. More technically sound in area of expertise and may have a broader knowledge of other areas. Delivers a work product that requires less revision. Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions. Knowledge Strong attention to detail as activities may have significant financial, client or business impact. Ability to multitask with a focus on organization and time management. Excellent oral and written communication skills required to present information/ideas in a clear and concise manner. In‑depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required. Highly flexible and adaptable to change. Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. PeopleSoft) is required.
