Your Role Collaborate with engineers and project managers to create detailed mechanical drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Inventor. Create engineering drawings including but not limited to architectural plans, site general arrangements (GA’s), and P&ID’s. Produce 2D & 3D drawings to enable manufacture of industrial equipment from existing samples. Develop site layouts and equipment drawings for industrial projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Participate in design reviews and make revisions based on feedback. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices. Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation. Maintain and update the Drawing Registers. Work closely with the production and project team to ensure the efficient manufacturing of equipment. Perform quality checks on drawings and designs to ensure they meet our high standards. Although this role is primarily office‑based, there may be a requirement to travel occasionally to various sites. What You Need Non‑negotiables A minimum of 3 years in the industrial design/drafting profession. Strong working application of main functions of Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor. Mechanical drafting experience in a professional environment. High level of IT competency essential, understanding of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good working relationships with clients and workmates. Ability to complete work within set standards of time, cost and quality. Previous industry and gas experience is an advantage. Preferred skills/expertise Advanced 3D Modeling (Inventor): Expertise in 3D modeling and converting physical samples. P&ID and GA Drafting: Proven skill in creating specific industrial drawings (P&IDs, GAs). Gas/Industry Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant engineering codes and best practices. Detail‑Oriented Quality Control: Exceptional accuracy in checking and ensuring drawing quality. Collaborative Feedback Integration: Strong communication and efficiency in incorporating revisions.
