About the role

LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and stakeholders, to drive project progress
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues, and bottlenecks that may impact project delivery
  • Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, mentoring more junior engineers as needed
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve project processes and implement best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in project management software, CAD tools, and other relevant engineering technologies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work well under pressure
